We have this time produced something different that what is commonly available in the market. After lot of R&D we finally comeup with an interesting design that works perfectly with Diana 34 T06 (T05 will be also available with same design).
TTI Piston is on the left hand side and the OEM piston is on the right.
As you see the TTI Piston is not having any SLOT. Yes you saw it right, this is the idea. Without the slot, it will fit and function perfectly as expected and also it helps to reduce noise that produced by the spring vibration.
The groove in the back side of the piston is meant for Plastic ring for friction less operation. The entire piston is Hardened.
And finally the all ready fitted with everything TTI Piston

We tried to fit TTI Piston for Diana 34
This TTI piston is not having any SLOT and it works flawlessly in this airgun.
We did some shooting with this TTI piston and we are extremely happy with the performance. We have’t apply any TAR on spring while testing and found this gun to be a very well behaved one.
You must follow this before buying Diana34 TTI piston from us.
We are trying to make Diana 34 from good to an excellent.
So lets find the improvement areas.
To the above picture, we want you to understand and watch it closely as this cocking shoe pays a vital role for smooth cocking. This is the reason why Weihrauch or AirArm makes separate cocking shoe for their airguns.
In this picture, this curve looks to be better and we’ll see series of picture where we’ll understand the improvement that can be done.
In this picture, we can see the there is some noticeable sharpness which could be a reason for problem.
Next part, we’ll grind the extra part in order to make the cocking shoe seat properly.
By doing that, we’ll get two benefit.
1) while cocking, the cocking shoe can seat properly on the Spring’s outer diameter therefore you will get less friction and sound while cocking the gun.
2) If you insert any shim inside the piston, there is a less chance that the shim cuts off over the time.
Lot of request we have got from our European customer that we should start manufacturing Hatsan seal. So we did finally.
We wanted to give a little details about the product so interested people can have more insight about it.
If you see the above picture where arrow is pointing, you will see the seal is made to match the chamfering of the piston in order to BLOCK the air leakage.

Other than the huge difference between the spring and the spring guide you also have noticed that the guide is very loosely fitted with the trigger block and hence the guide having some lateral movement or Oscillation.
So we have decided to do something that addresses the both. Also also it will address issue of getting the spring entering soothingly inside the piston.

The other end of the guide seats into the trigger block properly and the plastic support secure the guide with the trigger block to eliminate movement if any.
Now by looking at the picture you should have been convinced how steady the guide is.
we have decided to reduce the size of the tophat and increase the length of the guide for better action. You will be amazed with the smoothness. The original plastic guide shown beside to let you understand the difference.

This is what we mean for TTI Piston Assembly.
when you purchase, will ship all that you see in the above picture. A complete package. You just have to drop it in your HW77.
The Compression tube is coated with hard chrome. It serve the duel purpose.
1) Anti rust
2) Anti friction
The piston also having special anti friction coat in both internally and externally.
Both the parts i.e., Piston and chamber are hardened more than 50 hrc. So rest assured, the parts are ever lasting.
And you will have a stunning beautiful shooter.
Anti-friction ring is purposely not done in the front part of the chamber. The reason is simple. After cocking, the breech hole securing the front part of the chamber well. The back part however required to be steady thus we made the ring there.

As said before, the breech hole is securing the front part of the chamber properly as a result you can see the proper alignment thus the gap.

Once I have received the Gamo Bigcat, I checked the muzzle energy of the gun immediately. It was giving 13.3 fpe with CP 7.9g Not bad!!The shooting experience however not so pleasing. Twanging and unpleasant vibration. Being a very lightweight airgun, the vibration actually transferring to my hand. So decided if I can do something. I striped it down.
It is very natural to see a Bend spring from GAMO like this. And next the seal
One may choose to change the seal.
As we all know Piston is the Heart of the Powerplant.
The better the piston =Better the gun shoot
So lets have a look at the piston.
So the progressive bulged. All piston of gamo has this problem. And I don’t know the reason why the spring has to be exposed so much.
The more the spring exposed the more sound it will create while shooting and also while cocking and de-cocking.
I noticed the OD of the piston also bulged. have a look.
So the end of the piston looks better? Wobbling is guaranteed and a definite impact on SD. Therefore accuracy will be compromised.
Lets see what else we can spot.
Not BAD. 2.5mm gap. While it will be cocked, think in a slow motion. The spring guide getting pushed forward and the spring that is inside of the piston will buckling heavily like this:
Which will create, harsh, twangy airgun. It will reduce the power and spring life. Spring will bend, crack.
I just did a small thing to change the GAMO characteristic entirely.

The OD for TTI Piston is 24.85mm is an excellent sliding fit for 25mm GAMO. No Wobbling so better shot consistency thus the accuracy.
The ID of TTI piston is carefully made so while cocking the spring will enter inside the piston very smoothly. As you see the piston ID smaller than GAMO OEM piston for arresting bucking for better axial force and longer spring life. It also eliminates unessential twang.
Natural Spring Guide. You don’t have to but any extra spring guide. Your existing spring guide should do the magic with this piston,
After the piston installed, look at the compressed spring. There are still gap between coil to coil even though see how straight the spring is. More interestingly, you will be noticing immediately the smoothness while cocking and a solid piston smashing sound while firing. You will feel like you are shooting an expensive gun. As I told before the GAMO characteristic entirely changed after this.
I have got a 911 fps with crosman premier 7.9gr with TTI’s GAMO FULL POWER SPRING and that makes 14.5 fpe with a undoubtedly shooting pleasure.
Old vintage rifle. Very nice weight. HW95 or R9 is lighter than this one. Very harsh shooting. But when checked it on chrono, interestingly the velocity consistency is excellent.
